Description
Who we are...
At AWWG, transformation is embedded in our DNA. Founded in 1998 under the name of Pepe Jeans Group. With headquarters in Madrid, Spain, and design offices in London and Nice, this global fashion group integrates the iconic brands Pepe Jeans London, Hackett, and Façonnable. AWWG also has the master franchisee and agency for Tommy Hilfiger (Spain and Portugal) as well as the agency for Calvin Klein, DKNY, Donna Karan, and Karl Lagerfeld (Spain and Portugal).
The project!
As a Visual Merchandising Specialist at AWWG, you will be responsible for defining, executing, and safeguarding our visual identity across retail and wholesale channels. Serving as the primary bridge between HQ brand directors and field teams, you will drive in-store sales, maintain high visual standards, and deliver seamless store openings, campaign rollouts, and showroom set-ups.
What will the role entail?
- Serve as the primary liaison between HQ brand directors, retail operations, marketing, and field VM teams to align creative and commercial goals.
- Define tailored VM strategies for top stores and high-priority locations to balance brand representation, foot traffic flow, and sales conversion.
- Define, execute, and safeguard core VM guidelines, product displays, and layout compliance across all retail formats and brand doors.
- Create and distribute seasonal VM manuals, guidelines, and visual directive books, monitoring execution through regional auditing.
- Develop and communicate bi-weekly/monthly display updates based on stock arrivals, bestsellers, and seasonal transitions.
- Coordinate campaign visual production and select high-impact seasonal imagery to drive brand equity in-store.
- Select hero outfits and key looks for mannequins, aligning visual storytelling with commercial priorities and marketing pushes.
- Analyze store capacities and density targets to optimize garment density, linear capacity, and display balance without over-cluttering retail spaces.
- Oversee central purchasing for visual props, mannequins, hangers, and display hardware, managing suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.
- Track fixture and prop shipments, proactively resolving supply chain delays, damaged goods, or delivery discrepancies.
- Design and organize complete visual merchandise opening packages for new store launches, pop-ups, and refits.
- Lead end-to-end VM execution during store openings, major renovations, and seasonal floor refreshes on-site.
- Document refits, seasonal updates, and shop-in-shop openings with high-quality visual reporting submitted to department store buyers (ECI).
- Design and set up wholesale showrooms ahead of seasonal buying campaigns to showcase collections to commercial teams and clients.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to provide real-time floor feedback and check execution against HQ standards.
- Train Area Managers and store staff on display techniques, mannequin styling, color blocking, and guideline adherence.
