Department Head - Hotel Occidental Las Canteras

• Supervise and intervene in the provision of food and beverage services (restaurants, bars, etc.).
• Plan time and resources: shift scheduling, stock control.
• Assign and organize tables for the waiters under their supervision.
• Correct the performance of their team members, facilitating problem resolution.
• Oversee the hygiene and presentation of their staff, as well as the cleanliness of their section.
• Control the "mise en place".
• Take the "orders".
• Inform the maître d' of any shortcomings observed in the quality and presentation of the food.

• Education: Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training Certificate
• Experience: minimum 1 year as a waiter, preferably in a similar position.
• Languages: advanced English, a second language (French or German) is desirable.
• Organizational skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage teams.

Fixed-Term (fixed duration)

• Supervisar e intervenir en la prestación de los servicios de comidas y/o bebidas (restaurantes, bares, etc.).
• Planificar tiempo y recursos: elaboración de turnos, control de stocks.
• Organizar y asignar las mesas a los camareros que dependen de él.
• Corregir las actuaciones de sus colaboradores, facilitando la solución de problemas.
• Supervisar la higiene y presentación de su personal, así como el estado de la limpieza de su sector.

• Formación: Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio o Superior
• Experiencia: mínima de 1 año como camarero, deseable en puesto similar.
