The role

The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations by coordinating and supervising the personnel in charge, guaranteeing compliance with safety and quality standards, and optimizing processes to improve productivity

We are currently looking to hire two Team Leaders: one for the afternoon shift and one for the night shift.

What will your challenges be?

Coordinate work processes with the rest of the area's Team Leaders and Area Managers.
Manage assigned personnel and plan the tasks in their work area.
Control plant operations while meeting production parameters.
Distribute and manage resources based on the workload.
Detect and communicate any mechanical, systems, or personnel incidents.
Comply with and enforce occupational health and safety regulations.
Supervise cleanliness and order at workstations, promoting the 5S culture.
Promote and implement the Lean working methodology.
Lead and motivate the team.
Ensure the training and multi-skilling of personnel.
Detect and communicate any mechanical, system, and/or process incidents and propose corrective measures.
Make decisions and resolve problems by analyzing information and evaluating results.

Requirements

Training in logistics and people management.
Previous experience managing teams in a logistics environment.
Experience working with Lean methodology.
Knowledge of office automation (Excel, Power BI,...)
We will value experience with Blue Yonder
