Catenary Engineer (Railway Sector) - Bilbao or Madrid

If you have solid experience in the railway field and are passionate about the design and implementation of catenary systems, this is your opportunity to join a dynamic and constantly growing team.

We are looking for a Catenary Engineer to expand one of our teams in Bilbao or Madrid.

• Design and calculation of rigid and flexible catenary systems for high-speed railway lines, metro, tram, and conventional railway.
• Preparation of alignment, implementation, and catenary geometry studies, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Development of basic and detailed engineering for railway electrification systems.
• Mechanical calculation of conductors, steady arms, droppers, brackets, and support structures.
• Definition and dimensioning of foundations and structures associated with catenary systems in coordination with civil and structural disciplines.
• Preparation of construction drawings, technical specifications, calculation reports, and project documentation.
• Coordination with track, signaling, telecommunications, energy, and substation teams to ensure the integration of railway systems.
• Performance of clearance, interference, crossing, and electromechanical compatibility studies with other infrastructures.
• Participation in the preparation of technical offers, cost estimates, and solution analysis for railway tenders.
• Technical supervision during the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and commissioning phases of railway electrification installations.
• Review and validation of technical documentation from contractors, suppliers, and external consultancies.
• Technical support on international projects, ensuring compliance with EN, UIC, ADIF regulations, and applicable railway standards.
