Requirements

What we're looking for

  • University Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
  • More than 10 years of demonstrable experience in Commissioning roles, preferably in EPC environments.
  • Solid experience in the commissioning of Combined Cycle plants.
  • Deep knowledge of the processes and regulations applicable to energy projects in Germany.
  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken). Knowledge of German will be valued.
  • Availability to reside and work in Heilbronn, Germany.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team, with a high orientation toward results.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience as a PEM Engineer (Project Engineering Manager) will be valued.

The role

At BETWEEN Group, we continue to grow and expand our team, betting on the best talent. In our Substation Engineering division, we get involved in a wide variety of pioneering projects, working with the most innovative clients in the Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Food, Construction, and Civil Works sectors.

Currently, we are looking to hire a Commissioning Engineer to expand one of our teams in Heilbronn, Germany.

What you'll do

  • Perform system walkdowns to identify punch items and outstanding works.
  • Manage and follow up on Punch Lists until their closure.
  • Prioritize outstanding items according to their impact on Mechanical Completion, commissioning, and start-up.
  • Coordinate with Construction and subcontractors for the execution and closure of punch items.
  • Verify the correct execution of works in the field before their acceptance.
  • Provide support in the resolution of technical incidents during pre-commissioning and commissioning.
  • Review P&ID, drawings, isometrics, and technical documentation against the installed installation.
  • Coordinate interfaces between Construction, Commissioning, Engineering, Quality, and the Client.
  • Monitor the combined cycle systems: GT, ST, HRSG, BOP, and auxiliary systems.
  • Support the release, delivery, and handover of systems from Construction to Commissioning and Operations.
