Requirements

What we're looking for

  • At least 8 years of experience in project or program management, PMO, operations, or transformation.
  • Experience coordinating different areas in matrix organizations or complex project environments.
  • Demonstrable cases of resolving blockers, negotiation, and conflict management without direct hierarchical dependency.
  • Solid knowledge of risk management, incidents, dependencies, planning, and commitment tracking.
  • Ability to communicate with technical teams, area managers, and management.
  • English that allows you to participate in meetings and defend proposals and action plans.
  • Judgment for prioritizing, firmness in follow-up, and the ability to build agreements.

Nice to have

We will value experience in engineering, industry, or multi-vendor environments, as well as PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma certifications, or equivalent training.

At BETWEEN, we are looking for a Senior PMO to join our team and participate in a space and defense sector project in Madrid. We are looking for a person with experience in complex projects and cross-area coordination, capable of turning blockers and dependencies into agreements, decisions, and actions that are fulfilled.

You will work with project managers and different departments to anticipate deviations, facilitate solutions, and improve the execution of a project portfolio.

What you'll do

  • Identify and consolidate risks, blockers, and dependencies that affect several projects or departments.
  • Analyze their impact and causes, distinguishing specific incidents from recurring problems.
  • Facilitate agreements between areas with different priorities and define action plans with owners, dates, and expected results.
  • Follow up on commitments until their effective closure and request recovery measures in the event of deviations.
  • Prepare and facilitate resolution and follow-up meetings.
  • Preventively escalate matters that require decisions outside the operational scope, providing objective information.
  • Drive improvements in coordination, workflows, and project management mechanisms.

How you'll work

  • Hybrid modality, with weekly attendance.
  • Expected start date in January 2027.
