Requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree, Engineering, Master's, or Degree of at least 300 ECTS (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Telecommunications).
More than 10 years of demonstrable experience in IT project management, with a significant focus on BI projects.
Proven experience in the definition, planning, execution, and closing of BI projects.
Deep knowledge of the different phases of a BI project, from requirements gathering to implementation and support.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
Accredit real management of information systems and BI projects with SQL Server BI (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS), Power BI Report Server, or SAP Business Objects BI, or demonstrable equivalents.

We are looking for a Project Manager - BI to expand one of our teams in Madrid.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for the comprehensive direction and management of Business Intelligence projects.

Strategic Planning: Define the scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and necessary resources for each BI project.
Project Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring fluid and effective communication among all stakeholders.
Requirements Analysis: Work closely with clients and end users to understand and document their business needs and translate them into clear and concise technical requirements for BI projects.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks, implementing contingency plans when necessary.
Monitoring and Control: Monitor project progress, manage the schedule, budget, and resources, and report the project status to senior management.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain constant and transparent communication with all stakeholders, managing their expectations and ensuring their satisfaction.
Quality Management: Implement and supervise quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of robust and reliable BI solutions.
Agile and Traditional Methodologies: Apply and adapt project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) according to the specific needs of each project.
BI Vision: Provide a solid understanding of BI architectures, reporting tools, ETL, data warehousing, and data visualization.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in project management processes and in the developed BI solutions.
