Requirements

What we're looking for

Professional with solid technical and consulting experience in qualification, process and systems validation within highly regulated industries (pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or sectors with GMP standards).
Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field, and equivalent experience in technical validation/consulting.
Minimum of +3 years of experience in the process area within the industrial field (pharma and equipment in regulated environments).
Experience in thermal validation, equipment/process parameterization, and commissioning.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment validation protocols: PM, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ.
Knowledge of regulations and standards (GMP, EU GMP, FDA, EMA, and ICH).
Ability to write clear, precise technical documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Fluent technical Spanish and English (reading and writing) and communication skills for consulting/client interaction. German is a plus.

Hybrid Modality: 2 days teleworking (as long as the project status allows)
Flexible schedule: 8.5 hours Monday to Thursday and 6 hours on Friday, also able to work 8 hours Monday to Friday if preferred. Most common schedule is 8h to 17h Monday to Thursday with (30 mins for lunch).
Availability to travel between 20-30% of the working year.

We are currently looking for a Validation and Process Consultant to join on a permanent basis for one of our main clients in Terrassa (Barcelona).

The main objectives of the position are:

Meet the project schedule for the tasks under QC responsibility.
Meet the times assigned for each of the tasks to be performed.

What you'll do

PROJECT DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

Design and prepare equipment validation protocols according to GMPs and in accordance with client requirements and the Quality system.
Follow up on the approval of protocols and related documentation by the client.
Apply and follow the change controls that have already been approved.
Execute protocols, review results carried out by other departments and associated with protocol execution, search for certificates, etc.

PROJECT EXECUTION MANAGEMENT

Participate in kick-off, monitoring, and project closing meetings.
Plan and execute qualification tests for special and serial equipment, taking into account project timing and follow-up.
Monitor hours consumed in performing the necessary tasks and compare them with the Budget assigned to the project, justifying any deviations that arise.

DEVIATION AND CHANGE CONTROL MANAGEMENT

Prepare and close deviations derived from own executions.
Monitor the fulfillment of corrective and preventive actions associated with the execution of tests on the equipment.
Assess and provide support in the resolution of incidents and change controls related to the project.
