Requirements

What we're looking for

Technical or University degree in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or similar.
Demonstrable experience of at least 5 years in supervisory positions within the chemical or petrochemical sector.
Solid knowledge of industrial instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, control valves, control loops).
Extensive experience in medium and low voltage electrical installations.
Knowledge of technical and safety regulations specific to the chemical sector (ATEX, etc.).
Leadership capacity, team management and problem-solving.
Communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
Proficiency in project planning and management tools.
Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent technical training, with consolidated experience in the supervision of electrical, instrumentation, and control installations in industrial projects.
Minimum experience of 8–10 years in industrial projects, with at least 5 years performing supervisory, coordination, or superintendency functions for electrical and instrumentation works during the construction and commissioning phases.

Nice to have

Knowledge of SCADA and PLC systems will be valued.
Technical English level will be valued.
Experience in chemical, petrochemical, Oil & Gas plants, or industrial process facilities will be valued.
Spanish: fluent.
English: B1–B2, sufficient to interpret technical documentation, participate in coordination meetings, and communicate with suppliers and teams.
AutoCAD and tools for interpreting electrical and instrumentation drawings.
MS Project or Primavera P6 for schedule monitoring (valuable)
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
Knowledge of DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
Interpretation of P&ID diagrams, single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, and E&I technical documentation.

In our Facilities Engineering division, we get involved in a wide variety of cutting-edge projects, collaborating with the most innovative clients in the Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Food, Construction, and Civil Works sectors.

We are looking for an E&I Superintendent for an industrial project in the Chemical sector to expand one of our teams in Burgos.

9-MONTH PROJECT (possibility of relocation to other projects upon completion).

What you'll do

Supervise and coordinate the execution of electrical and instrumentation works during the construction phase of the project.
Manage and supervise E&I contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, deadlines, quality, and safety.
Supervise the installation of cable trays, conduits, electrical wiring, panels, motor control centers (MCC), electrical equipment, and field instrumentation.
Verify the assembly of instruments, control valves, measurement systems, automation equipment, and control systems.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, P&ID, loop diagrams, cable lists, and engineering documentation.
Coordinate electrical and instrumentation interfaces with mechanical, piping, process, civil works, and automation disciplines.
Monitor the physical progress of the works, identifying deviations from the schedule and proposing corrective actions.
