The role
We are looking for a Process and Industrial Safety Technician (PRL) to provide support to the Production department in improving production processes and continuous improvement projects, following the instructions of the Manufacturing Manager and management, ensuring compliance with Quality, Environment, and Health and Safety policies.
Additionally, supervise production processes to ensure compliance with defined technical instructions, incorporating and promoting improvements in industrial safety.

- Improve production processes, take times, define new layouts, create protocols and reports, and balance production lines.
- Supervise production processes in the plant to ensure compliance with defined technical instructions.
- Identify deviations in processes and propose corrective actions, especially those related to safety.
- Report to the area manager for decision-making (production analysis, subcontracting, overtime, and historical data).
- Execute 5S audits.
- Analyze incidents using structured methodologies (A3: error identification, cost, and solution).
- Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, among others).
- Collaborate in the implementation of visual factory tools.
- Design and implement safety-oriented improvements in processes (e.g., Poka-Yoke).
- Propose necessary investments for process and safety improvement, and follow up on them until implementation.
- Support the daily management of the production area when necessary.
- Promote continuous improvement actions in environment, health, and safety, proposing new initiatives in the area.
- Comply with applicable regulations, especially regarding Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL).
