It will be necessary to have a degree in Architecture or Interior Design and at least 8 years of professional experience, preferably in the hotel sector and/or in F&B projects. We will especially value experience in procurement management, supplier negotiation, and coordination of the acquisition of furniture, lighting, equipment, and decoration (FF&E), as well as custom millwork. Experience in Project Management and the ability to lead the planning, coordination, and monitoring of projects, from the conceptual phase to execution and final delivery, will also be valued.
We are looking for a Design & Procurement Manager to join Arabella Hospitality España based in Mallorca.
A marked interest in design, aesthetic sensitivity, and attention to detail is required, along with the ability to balance creative intent with the technical, budgetary, and operational requirements of each project.
· Organize and participate in design meetings and follow up on pending actions.
· Review design documentation, including plans, specifications, and shop drawings, consolidating Arabella's comments and verifying the correct implementation of modifications requested by designers and suppliers.
· Quantify FF&E elements and verify their correspondence with the approved plans.
· Identify and propose alternatives for materials and FF&E elements to meet established cost, quality, and deadline objectives.
· Manage relationships with FF&E and millwork suppliers, requesting quotes and samples, negotiating prices and deadlines, and following up on the purchasing process from the initial request to final delivery and assembly.
· Perform basic cost tracking, quote comparisons, and collaborate in budget control.
· Review orders, delivery notes, and invoices, verifying their correspondence with approved quotes, agreed conditions, and completed deliveries.
· Supervise on-site the reception and conformity of FF&E and millwork elements, coordinating the resolution of incidents and providing on-site support during the pre-opening phase.
· Maintain fluid communication with hotel Operations teams to coordinate needs, gather feedback, and ensure the alignment of design decisions with the operational requirements of each establishment.
· Act as Arabella's “Design Guardian,” supervising that hotels maintain consistency and aesthetic identity within established quality standards, both in renovation projects and in subsequent interventions and improvements.
