About the role

If you want to develop as an Environment Inspector under the accreditation of the Control Entity for the Prevention and Environmental Control of Activities (EC-PCAA accredited by the Government of Catalonia), as well as a Fire Inspector (under the accreditation of the Fire Department as a Fire Control Entity (ECI) and a Fire Control Organization accredited by ENAC) (RIPCI and RSCIEI)), working alongside a united and responsible team, in a leading company, with very large clients where you will see different things and keep learning... What you'll do

DUTIES
■ Prepare inspections by reviewing documentation, applicable regulations, and the history of the equipment or installation.
■ Carry out on-site inspections.
■ Verify the conformity of equipment, installations, products, or environments with current regulations.
■ Identify non-conformities and gather objective evidence.
■ Issue inspection reports and certificates with the traceability and rigor required by BV and the accrediting body.
■ Communicate findings to the client in a clear, technical, and constructive manner.
■ Follow up on non-conformities until they are closed.
■ Operate and verify assigned measuring and inspection equipment, ensuring its calibration and maintenance.
■ Comply with BV's internal procedures, impartiality requirements, and confidentiality.
■ Keep technical qualifications up to date (recertifications, ongoing training, NDT levels, etc.).
■ Apply safety standards and mandatory PPE in each work environment.

What we're looking for

  • Hold a university degree in a scientific or technical field.
  • Work experience in an EC-PCAA (industrial sector).
  • Work experience in an ECI.
  • Hold basic and advanced training in fire prevention and safety, with a valid certification from the ISPC.
  • Availability to travel throughout Catalonia.
  • Must have a driver's license.
