Construction Manager CSA

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the management and execution of construction works.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial projects.
• Solid knowledge of steel structures and prefabricated systems.
• Knowledge and experience in BIM working environments.
• Minimum English level B2, with a C1 level being positively valued.

We are looking for a Construction Manager CSA to join a major industrial construction project located in the outskirts of Zaragoza.

The selected person will be responsible for leading and supervising the execution of the Civil, Structure, and Architecture (CSA) packages, ensuring compliance with planning, economic control, quality standards, and applicable regulations. It will be essential to provide demonstrable experience in the management and execution of steel and prefabricated structures within large-scale industrial projects.

Additionally, they will perform periodic site inspections to verify compliance with project documentation, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements, identifying deviations and driving corrective actions when necessary.

Main duties:

• Actively participate in the bidding and contracting processes for the different lots associated with the execution of the works.
• Prepare, analyze, and update detailed schedules, optimizing resource allocation in each phase of the project.
• Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Perform the monitoring and economic control of the works, ensuring compliance with the established budget.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering, construction, and purchasing departments to ensure alignment with the general project planning.
• Supervise the progress of the works and prepare periodic reports for Project Management, highlighting milestones achieved, risks, and possible deviations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal, technical, and safety regulations.
• Perform periodic site inspections and ensure the correct execution of the works according to specifications.
• Manage and resolve incidents and unforeseen events during the construction phase.
• Drive corrective and continuous improvement actions to ensure the success of the project.
