Requirements

What we're looking for

We are looking for a Java Tech Lead with at least 5 years of experience in software development projects, with fluent English and/or French. You will participate in a long-term project for a reference client in the French energy sector, within a collaborative, multidisciplinary, and international environment, with a focus on modern technologies.

  • From 3 years of experience in large-scale projects and software development with Java (v.8-21) and Spring Boot.
  • Microservices Architecture.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum) and the software development lifecycle.
  • Fluent French to communicate with teams and clients.

*For Tech Lead profiles with more years of experience, in addition to the previous requirements, experience leading technical teams, performing mentoring, and code reviews will be required. For these types of profiles, fluent English and/or French will be valued.

Nice to have

Highly valued:

  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in testing and quality assurance (JUnit, Mockito). Use of Git, GitLab, and GitHub
  • Knowledge of DevOps: UNIX, Shell Script, Jenkins, and Ansible
  • Experience in Cloud environments and technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) will be valued.

The Agile Delivery Center Spain of Capgemini is a specialized center located in Murcia and Valencia, focused on offering innovative software solutions using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in the design, development, maintenance and optimization of Java-based applications. You will work in a multidisciplinary and international environment with cutting-edge technologies, in agile environments, and you will contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

In our teams, a Software Engineer applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. They are responsible for researching and acquiring knowledge in their technical discipline. They collaborate and act as a team member alongside other software engineers and stakeholders.
