Technical Reference PHP (Symfony) - French Public Sector Project

We are looking for a Technical Reference PHP with at least five years of experience in software development projects for the French public sector, with a fluent level of French, a strong passion for technology and an interest in being part of a highly technical talent system, in a multicultural environment and an active, dynamic culture with an open mindset.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working on large-scale projects and development with PHP

• Solid experience in the architecture, development, and maintenance of large-scale web applications.

• Expert level in PHP and Symfony
• Experience leading technical teams with agile methodologies

• Experience in code review, definition of technical standards, and software quality assurance

• Git & CI/CD (Jenkins, Travis, GitLab, TeamCity, etc.)
• Good communication skills
• Intermediate/advanced level of French and English is required.
• Previous experience in the French public sector is essential

As a Technical Reference PHP, you will play a key role in the design, development and implementation of scalable, high-quality web applications. You will be responsible for defining and leading technical solutions, ensuring compliance with development standards, code quality and proper application integration. You will work in an agile, international environment, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams such as product owners, architects, QA and other developers, fostering effective communication and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will actively participate in the definition and evolution of the software architecture, proposing improvements, identifying optimization opportunities and promoting technological innovation. Your role will also involve mentoring other developers, facilitating team growth, as well as code review and the implementation of processes that ensure the quality, efficiency and maintainability of delivered solutions. You will actively contribute to the evolution of development, continuous integration and deployment processes, ensuring agile delivery aligned with business objectives.

• Software development and maintenance: Create and maintain high-quality software applications using PHP and Symfony. Participate in the development of the most complex functionalities
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers and other engineers, to deliver robust software solutions
• Code review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, performance and security. Oversee developments carried out by the team. Promote good practices and development processes

• Contribute to the industrialization and continuous improvement of development processes, driving continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, the reuse of common components, and internal collaboration in the development of solutions.

• Continuous improvement: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software engineering practices. Propose improvements in application development

• Perform technological monitoring and drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies that add value to projects and the team.

• Advise and support Product Owners in evaluating technical challenges and impacts, facilitating decision-making and the definition of viable and scalable solutions.

• Technical leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to developers, ensuring best practices in coding and design. Help the team identify pending work in a project and promote good practices
