What we're looking for
- Experience in Software Assurance or software certification in regulated environments.
- Knowledge and experience working with the DO-278A standard.
- Experience in certification processes and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of requirements traceability.
- Experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
- Knowledge of configuration management.
- Ability to work with technical documentation and certification evidence.
- English level sufficient to work in international environments.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of DO-178C.
- Experience in systems engineering based on ARP4754A.
- Knowledge of safety analysis according to ARP4761.
- Experience in CNS/ATM systems or critical systems.
- Participation in Safety Assessment activities.
- Experience in aeronautical or aviation projects.

The role
We are looking for a Software Assurance & Certification Engineer to join an innovative project within the aeronautical sector, participating in certification and software assurance activities for critical systems.
The selected person will collaborate in the definition, validation, and certification of software tools aimed at optimizing and improving operational processes, working in a highly technological and regulated environment. They will be part of multidisciplinary teams responsible for guaranteeing regulatory compliance, software quality, and the correct generation of certification evidence.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop a specialization in aeronautical certification and participate in projects with a direct impact on the safety, availability, and efficiency of critical systems.
What you'll do
- Lead or participate in Software Assurance activities in critical software projects.
- Guarantee compliance with the requirements established by DO-278A.
- Define and review software certification and assurance processes.
- Manage traceability between requirements, design, implementation, and testing.
- Participate in Validation and Verification (V&V) activities.
- Prepare, review, and maintain compliance evidence and certification documentation.
- Provide support in audits, technical reviews, and demonstrations of regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, validation, and certification teams.
