Railway Signaling Engineer (ETCS/ERTMS)

Would you like to participate in strategic rolling stock projects and contribute to the integration of advanced train control and protection systems? From Capgemini Engineering, we are looking for a Railway Signaling Engineer (ETCS/ERTMS) to join our team. You will participate in the design, integration, validation, and commissioning of on-board signaling systems. You will work in coordination with TCMS, validation, RAMS, rolling stock, and commissioning specialists to ensure the correct functioning and integration of the different train systems.

• Analyze functional and technical requirements, and prepare the associated documentation.
• Participate in the integration and parameterization of ETCS/ERTMS systems and national train protection systems.
• Define and manage interfaces with TCMS and other railway subsystems.
• Provide support for verification and validation activities, including static and dynamic testing.
• Analyze and resolve incidents during the integration, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate with suppliers, engineering teams, and the end customer in homologation and commissioning activities.

To feel comfortable in this position, knowledge of the following is required:

• Degree in Telecommunications, Industrial, Electronic, Computer Engineering or similar.

• More than 3 years of experience in railway projects.

• Experience in on-board railway signaling systems.

• Knowledge of systems integration in rolling stock.

• Experience in railway validation, testing, or commissioning.

• Technical English and the ability to work in international environments.
