As part of our team in the Inspections area of the San Roque Energy Park (PESR), you will be responsible for carrying out, coordinating, and controlling the set of technical inspections and corrosion control of the Plant's static equipment and new facilities.
Your main purpose will be to increase the safety and reliability of the facilities and the quality of the work, ensuring at all times respect for the environment and the mitigation of potential incident risks.

Data and Systems Management: Register the results of inspections, minimum thickness calculations, remaining life, etc., in the management systems, verifying their suitability.
Supervision and Tests (N.D.T.): Supervise and evaluate the results of the N.D.T., the work of Inspection Assistants, and the services provided by external entities.
Analysis of Damage Mechanisms: Investigate and analyze deterioration mechanisms in PESR's in-service equipment, issuing technical reports to prevent failures, establish conservation programs, or indicate equipment shutdowns.
RBI Strategy: Apply and manage the Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) strategy, updating data in the application and establishing future inspection programs.
Budget Control: Establish and control the Plant's annual inspection budget monthly, justifying deviations and applying corrective actions.
Technical Advice: Advise Maintenance, Major Repairs, and Engineering, studying technical documentation and verifying the regulatory compliance of the facilities.
Legal and Official Inspections: Coordinate with the Administration and supervise legal inspections. Act as an Authorized Inspector in Official Inspections of equipment according to ITC EP-3.
Safety and Environment: Control and apply good HSE practices, regulations, and procedures to mitigate incident or accident risks.
Technical Change Management: Participate in the Plant's technical changes, evaluating implications in deterioration, corrosion rates, and failure probability.
Education: University degree in Industrial Engineering.
Tools: Good handling of Excel and the rest of Microsoft Office applications.
Have previous experience in the Inspections area in Refineries and Petrochemical Plants.
Possess knowledge of processes, deterioration mechanisms, and specific materials of these industries.
Have an intermediate level of English.
Provide knowledge and experience in the handling of international codes and standards (ASME / API / ASTM / NACE).
Know the regulations and legislation in the field of pressure equipment and petroleum facilities.
Have certifications in non-destructive testing (ISO 9712 / ASNT SNT-TC-1A).
Handle inspection platforms such as SIGRID and SAP.
