In our Finished Vehicle Logistics team at CEVA Logistics, we have an excellent opportunity to bring on board a dynamic and detail-oriented Facilities Repair and Maintenance Operator (Automotive Surveyor) to join our inspection team in Tarragona. In this key role, you will work directly in the workshop alongside the internal inspection team, performing a fundamental function in technical assessment, damage valuation, and budget control of vehicle logistics operations.

What you'll do

Reporting functionally to the Warranty and Facilities Management area, and working closely with the technical inspection team, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Technical damage inspection: Perform exhaustive physical and technical reviews of vehicles (focused on used fleets) to identify breakdowns, accidents, or operational incidents following transport or use.
  • Budgeting and cost control: Prepare, review, validate, and control the accuracy of technical repair budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Spare parts management: Identify mechanical components, body parts, and electronics necessary for repair, processing and managing parts requests.
  • Counter-surveys: Manage counter-surveys and provide responses/rebuttals to original valuations.
  • Stakeholder coordination: Offer technical advice on valuations and interventions, coordinating with insurance companies, suppliers, and automotive sector professionals.
