At Cold Culture we are still growing and we are looking to bring on board an Import Specialist to join the Logistics team and provide specialized support in customs management and international logistics for our collections, coordinating the shipment of goods from Asia to Spain.
We are looking for an organized, analytical person with a desire to learn, who wants to specialize in international trade and customs within a rapidly expanding fashion brand.
You will work closely with the Logistics team, serving as the point of reference for customs documentation and import management, and collaborating with different departments to ensure regulatory compliance and process efficiency.
What you'll do
π¦ Responsibilities
Manage and track all of the company's international imports, mainly from Asia to Spain.
Prepare, review, and validate customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs declarations (DUA), etc.).
Coordinate with customs agents, freight forwarders, and logistics operators for the clearance of goods.
Classify products under the customs tariff (TARIC/HS Code) and verify the correct application of such classification.
Ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations (special regimes, import VAT, duties, etc.).
Manage shipments by sea, air, and land, from origin in Asia to destination clearance in Spain.
Track shipments, transit times, warehouse receipts, and any customs or operational incidents.
Maintain daily communication with international suppliers, customs agents, and freight forwarders.
Review and validate invoices from logistics and customs providers.
Provide support in the creation and maintenance of SKUs, EANs, and product labeling in compliance with regulations.
Support the tracking of purchase orders and forecasts related to import planning.
Identify opportunities for improvement in import costs, duties, and transit times.
Collaborate with the Product, Purchasing, Finance, Customer Service, and E-commerce teams to ensure the correct operational flow.
Participate in preparing reports and tracking logistics and customs KPIs.
