Requirements
What we're looking for
5-8 years of experience as a product technician for a high-volume brand, or in a supplier's purchasing office.
Own tech packs and measurement charts: you must be able to show one that you have written yourself and explain the reasoning behind your tolerances.
Experience leading fit sessions and approving samples with judgment (including the ability to reject them).
Knowledge of AQL and quality control at source.
High level of English, with experience regularly negotiating with factories.
Availability to travel to the factory.
Nice to have
We especially value: having worked on the supplier side (purchasing office/product development of a supplier).
The role
COLD is not just streetwear. It's attitude. It's culture. It's revolution.
We were born on the streets, we create from raw creativity, and we move with our own style.
Every garment speaks for itself: no fear, no filters, no asking for permission. Our vision is worldwide: we don't fit in, we break the mold.
We are looking for a Fashion Quality Control Specialist for the Purchasing department. You will be the person responsible for the tech pack, the measurement and tolerance chart, the approval or rejection of samples before production begins, and quality control at the factory. You will be the person responsible for fit and quality, with the authority to stop a shipment when necessary.
What you'll do
Prepare and maintain the tech pack for each product.
Set the measurement chart and tolerances, and ensure the supplier complies with them.
Lead the fit sessions.
Approve or reject the sample (PP sample) before production begins, using your own judgment to say no when appropriate.
Design and implement quality control at the factory (AQL, inspection at source).
Detect recurring failure patterns by model or supplier (sizing, defects) and drive the correction through to the supplier.
Negotiate and communicate in English daily via email with factories.
Travel to the factory when necessary to audit production or resolve incidents.
