What are we looking for?

• Higher Degree in Industrial Maintenance. Training in Technical/Industrial Engineering or similar will be valued.
• Professional experience in industrial maintenance, especially in responsibility or coordination positions.
• Previous experience in management and leadership of maintenance teams.
• Essential ability to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Knowledge of corrective maintenance and industrial breakdown resolution.
• Knowledge and sensitivity regarding industrial safety and OSH.

• Knowledge of frequency converters will be valued.
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC programming will be valued.
• Level of English will be valued.
• Valuable experience working with SAP PM and maintenance management tools.

From ConfiARTE, a consultancy specializing in the selection and headhunting of technical profiles and middle management, we are collaborating with a major leading industrial company in the search for a Maintenance Workshop Manager to join them in Arboç (Tarragona).

We are looking for a professional with consolidated experience in industrial maintenance and team management, capable of assuming the coordination of corrective maintenance and guaranteeing the correct functioning of the facilities, equipment, and production processes.

The selected person will report directly to the Plant Maintenance Manager and will have a key role in the daily management of the workshop, team coordination, and continuous improvement.

What will your mission be?

Direct and coordinate the corrective maintenance team, ensuring the execution of the work necessary to guarantee production continuity, under criteria of safety, quality, environment, cost, and deadline.

Additionally, you will participate actively in the continuous improvement of processes and in the resolution of the main technical incidents of the plant.

Main responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the corrective maintenance team.
• Supervise the repair and diagnosis of breakdowns, participating in the resolution of the most complex incidents.
• Coordinate planned and preventive corrective maintenance work during plant shutdowns.
• Supervise work and repairs carried out by external companies.
• Coordinate the repair and assembly of tooling.
• Supervise the management and availability of the spare parts necessary for maintenance.
• Monitor the main maintenance indicators, such as OEE, MTTR, and MTBF.
• Organize the distribution of the team based on production needs.
• Guarantee coordination between the different shifts and areas involved.
• Train, support, and develop the maintenance team.
• Participate in the analysis and resolution of breakdowns using improvement and problem-solving tools.
• Drive the implementation of continuous improvement actions and their standardization.
• Guarantee compliance with safety, quality, and environmental procedures and standards.
