The role

Company in the agricultural sector located in Reus (Tarragona), dedicated to food production. They are looking to hire a Maintenance Coordinator for their production plant.

What you'll do

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising comprehensive maintenance of the production plant, managing the team and ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and facilities. Reporting to management, they will be responsible for:

Planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance of the plant.
Leading, organizing, and providing technical support to the maintenance team (8-10 people).
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues in agricultural and industrial machinery.
Performing basic electrical interventions (simple motors, timers, clocks, PLC adjustments).
Ensuring compliance with maintenance plans and proposing improvements.
Collaborating on operational tasks at the facility when necessary.
Training and supporting a team with different levels of specialization.

Requirements

Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably in agricultural environments.
Solid knowledge of mechanics: motors, tractors, trucks, chains, augers, spirals, and similar machinery.
Basic electrical knowledge (motors, timers, simple PLC).
Valuable experience in carpentry, masonry, or welding.

Skills

A hands-on person, resourceful, and proactive.
