The role

From a consultancy specialized in personnel selection for industrial environments, we are looking to hire an Industrial Pipefitter for a stable project within an established and leading company in the metallurgical and industrial sector.

The selected person will join a highly qualified technical team, participating in the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of industrial piping systems, ensuring the proper functioning of facilities and compliance with established quality and safety standards.

We are looking for committed professionals with the ability to read isometric drawings and experience in preparing, assembling, and installing piping in industrial environments. We especially value attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to various technical projects.

What you'll do

Main duties:

Reading and interpreting isometric drawings.
Cutting, preparing, and assembling pipes.
Assembling and installing industrial piping systems.
Adjusting and aligning pieces and supports.
Repairing and performing preventive/corrective maintenance.
Verifying measurements and quality control of completed work.
Complying with safety regulations and occupational risk prevention.

Main duties

Reading and interpreting isometric drawings and P&ID diagrams.
Measuring, cutting, and shaping pipes (bending, beveling, threading).
Preparing pipe sections for welding, collaborating with welders when necessary.
Installing pipes on site: alignment, leveling, and securing supports.
Installing valves, flanges, fittings, and joints.
Adjusting and fitting prefabricated pipes for proper installation.
Detecting leaks and replacing deteriorated sections or equipment (pumps, valves, manifolds).
Adjustments to existing installations.
Performing or assisting with hydraulic or pneumatic tests.
Checking tightness, pressure, and alignment.
