At CONVOTIS Iberia, we are looking to hire an Oracle Database Engineer to provide technical support in projects involving Oracle and GoldenGate, the tool we use for data replication. The role

What you'll do

Replicate databases (tables) using Oracle GoldenGate
Prepare replication sets based on prior analysis
Collaborate with the team in data preparation and ingestion
Resolve incidents and errors in the field of data ingestion
Perform tuning of Oracle databases
Perform troubleshooting of problems with EC2 instances and S3 buckets
Attend to and manage requests and incidents, including initial analysis and triage
Escalate to specialist teams when necessary and perform follow-up
Keep tickets updated and inform users and teams of the status of cases
Participate in the management of relevant incidents and, when appropriate, in war rooms
Collaborate in the improvement of procedures and documentation
