We are looking for a person to join us as a Purchasing Technician Lead in our Madrid office. We are looking for a profile with experience in the strategic management of indirect procurement, especially in categories such as Consulting, Professional Services, Marketing, and Communication. You will have a key role in procurement strategy, supplier selection and negotiation, contract management, and the identification of improvement opportunities that add value to the business.
What you'll do
- Support the design and development of the strategy and procurement plan for the assigned indirect categories, in coordination with the Procurement Planning and Processes team.
- Lead the selection, evaluation, and negotiation processes with suppliers for Deloitte and its companies, ensuring compliance with Procurement procedures.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and promote long-term agreements that maximize value and competitive advantage for the group.
- Administer contracts and monitor their implementation and compliance.
- Identify and drive initiatives to optimize the total cost of ownership, considering improvements in consumption, performance, innovation, and efficiency, beyond the acquisition price.
- Monitor supplier performance, analyze the causes of possible incidents, and coordinate the definition and execution of corrective action plans.
- Coordinate the resolution of recurring service and operational incidents, acting as a point of reference between the involved areas.
- Participate in the definition and improvement of the electronic tools and processes necessary for the management of Procurement agreements.
- Contribute to the development of the roadmap and the strategic plan for the assigned categories for the next three to five years, in collaboration with the Planning team and internal clients.
- Collaborate on initiatives related to the improvement of working capital and responsible supply chain management, including actions regarding CSR, sustainability, and supplier qualification.
- Act as a functional reference within the team, fostering collaboration and coordinating with the different levels of the organization to drive the achievement of the defined objectives.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Economics, Business Administration and Management, or a related field.
- Between 5 and 7 years of experience in category management and supplier management in national and international environments.
- Experience in indirect procurement categories, especially Consulting, Professional Services, Marketing, and Communication.
- Experience in negotiation, bid evaluation, contract management, and supplier development.
- Experience in project management and the ability to work effectively with different areas and levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of Procurement tools and systems, such as e-sourcing solutions, RFx, spend analytics, SRM, contract repositories, SharePoint, and ERP MM and FI modules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Negotiation, analysis, planning, communication, and influence skills.
- Orientation toward the internal client, proactivity, resilience, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead teams and align business interests with the Procurement strategy.

What you'll do
- Acompañar en el diseño y desarrollo de la estrategia y el plan de compras de las categorías de indirectos asignadas, en coordinación con el equipo de Planificación y Procesos de Compras.
- Liderar los procesos de selección, evaluación y negociación con proveedores para Deloitte y sus sociedades, garantizando el cumplimiento de los procedimientos de Compras.
- Gestionar la relación con proveedores clave y promover acuerdos a largo plazo que maximicen el valor y la ventaja competitiva para el grupo.
- Administrar los contratos y realizar el seguimiento de su implementación y cumplimiento.
- Identificar e impulsar iniciativas de optimización del coste total de propiedad, considerando mejoras en consumo, rendimiento, innovación y eficiencia, más allá del precio de adquisición.
- Realizar el seguimiento del desempeño de los proveedores, analizar las causas de posibles incidencias y coordinar la definición y ejecución de planes de acción correctivos.
- Coordinar la resolución de incidencias recurrentes de servicio y operación, actuando como punto de referencia entre las áreas involucradas.
- Participar en la definición y mejora de las herramientas electrónicas y los procesos necesarios para la gestión de los acuerdos de Compras.
- Contribuir al desarrollo de la hoja de ruta y del plan estratégico de las categorías asignadas para los próximos tres a cinco años, en colaboración con el equipo de Planificación y los clientes internos.
- Colaborar en iniciativas relacionadas con la mejora del capital circulante y la gestión responsable de la cadena de suministro, incluyendo actuaciones en materia de RSC, sostenibilidad y homologación de proveedores.
