Join our Digital Channels team at Deutsche Bank TDI Spain. Participate in the development of critical solutions that drive our digital products. We are looking for a Senior Engineer with a technical mindset who enjoys writing quality code, solving problems, and building efficient, scalable, and secure systems. This is a role to deepen engineering expertise, create solutions, automate, and optimize without management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance backend software (Java/GCP).
• Design and implement robust technical architectures that ensure scalability, resilience, and efficiency.
• Actively participate in the full development cycle (coding, testing, deployment, observability) and optimize it using AI.
• Continuously improve code quality through engineering best practices and AI tools.
• Proactively detect and resolve vulnerabilities, performance issues, and technical risks.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
• Solid and practical knowledge of Cloud environments (preferably GCP).
• Strong experience in software engineering, technical architecture, and best practices.
• Ability to leverage AI solutions for automation and development optimization.
