We are offering the position of Operations Coordinator in one of our logistics operations.
You will join the site management team, and you will be responsible for coordinating and providing support in the safe and efficient management of operations, working within clear guidelines to help achieve defined results for the site and its customers.
What you'll do
- Lead and coordinate the assigned team, ensuring proper performance while maintaining the required standards in safety, motivation, and commitment.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations, including achieving the KPIs agreed with client companies, as well as internal ones (safety, operations, etc.).
- Participate in hiring, evaluation, and compliance processes, and provide the necessary recommendations to ensure proper operational performance.
- Advise team members in order to improve performance.
- Provide the team with operational results information.
- Carry out and coordinate compliance with processes up to date, work instructions, standardized procedures, and related matters to achieve the expected results.
- Contribute to client companies, internal and operational regulatory audits as necessary, as well as support the implementation of agreed action plans.
- Support the team in following safety regulations and help reduce or eliminate health and operational risks.
- Carry out basic on-site investigations of incidents within the workplace and promptly report any non-compliance issues with safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position (valuable).
- Experience in team management (valuable).
- Intermediate or higher education degree (valuable)
- Knowledge of office software and Warehouse and Transport Management Systems
- Advanced English.
