The role

At DHL Global Forwarding, we are looking for a person to join the customs team for our Barajas office, Madrid, performing operational tasks. This is a temporary contract (approximately 2 months with the possibility of extension).

What you'll do

Prepare the presentation of Customs Declarations
Correctly carry out telematic communications with customs and other involved agencies within the stipulated timeframe.
Perform documentation reviews to provide early warning of possible errors or incidents
Billing tasks
Prepare and send written communications to customs under supervision.
Evaluate and monitor performance KPIs in their area, updating service information
Manage operational incidents with other departments so that they are resolved within the defined timeframes
Identify and propose improvements in processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and quality of the work performed
Manage and keep customer information lists up to date
Back office (scanning, filing records, report presentation...)
Any other additional function related to the position
Ensure compliance with LOPD, PRL, RSC... in accordance with company standards
