About the role

At AVIS Canarias we are looking for a person to work as a Rental Agent in our office located in Costa Calma, southern Fuerteventura.

The mission of a Rental Agent is the preparation and delivery of vehicles to customers at hotels, ensuring a smooth, professional experience in line with the brand's quality standards.

What you'll do

What would your RESPONSIBILITIES be?

  • Deliver vehicles to customers at hotels in the area, explaining rental terms and resolving any customer questions.
  • Ensure fast and professional service.
  • Advise customers: answer questions about the rental, explain coverage and additional products.
  • Monitor the fleet's condition, inspecting and recording any damage or incidents on the vehicles.
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery, carry out cleaning, refueling and ensure they are in perfect condition for rental.
  • Manage the fleet: coordinate with workshops and maintenance centers to optimize car availability.
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming work environment.

What we're looking for

  • Intermediate/Advanced vocational training qualification or equivalent.
  • Intermediate/advanced level of English. (other languages are valued)
  • Good command of digital tools (email, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • A valid driving licence (category B) is essential.
