Windows Systems Technician

At DXC Spain, we are looking for a Windows Systems Technician to join our teams and participate in an important project in the banking sector.

Requirements:

• Automation of operating system tasks in on-premise and cloud (private and public) environments, including support for automation in deployment and operation processes (day 2).

• Installation and maintenance of operating systems in on-premise and cloud environments: Windows Server (different versions), including associated roles and functionalities.

• Resolution of deficiencies in operating system hardening and support in the definition of security guides.

• Management and resolution of operating system vulnerabilities, in coordination with the CISO team and other technical teams.

• Patching of operating systems and maintenance of the patching infrastructure (WSUS, SCCM or other equivalent tools).

• Management of system obsolescence, including upgrade planning and decommissioning.

• Participation in infrastructure migrations and renewals (on-premise and cloud).

• Incident support in production environments (L2/L3), including diagnosis, resolution, and coordination with other teams in complex incidents.

• Root cause analysis (RCA) of relevant incidents and definition of corrective actions.

En DXC España estamos buscando un/a Técnico/a de Sistemas Windows para unirse a nuestros equipos y participar en un importante proyecto del sector bancario.

Requisitos:

• Automatización de tareas de sistemas operativos en entornos on‑premise y cloud (privada y pública), incluyendo soporte a automatismos en procesos de despliegue y operación (día 2).

• Instalación y mantenimiento de sistemas operativos en entornos on‑premise y cloud: Windows Server (distintas versiones), incluyendo roles y funcionalidades asociadas.

• Resolución de deficiencias en el bastionado de sistemas operativos y apoyo en la definición de guías de seguridad.

• Gestión y resolución de vulnerabilidades de sistemas operativos, en coordinación con el equipo CISO y otros equipos técnicos.

• Parcheado de sistemas operativos y mantenimiento de la infraestructura de parcheo (WSUS, SCCM u otras herramientas equivalentes).

• Gestión de obsolescencia de sistemas, incluyendo planificación de upgrades y decomisionado.

• Participación en migraciones y renovaciones de infraestructura (on‑premise y cloud).

• Soporte a incidencias en entornos productivos (L2/L3), incluyendo diagnóstico, resolución y coordinación con otros equipos en incidencias complejas.

• Análisis de causa raíz (RCA) de incidencias relevantes y definición de acciones correctivas.
