Candidate requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • +4 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer using Java.
  • Experience working with JavaScript and one of the main frameworks such as Angular.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Node JS.
  • Knowledge of BDD: Mongo DB
  • Experience with unit testing.
  • At an architectural level, experience with microservices (DDD).
  • Ability to work efficiently individually and in a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability to work on-site in central Barcelona.

Nice to have

  • It is a plus if you have design-level experience working with SOLID principles and clean code.

The role

Are you a Full-Stack Developer passionate about technology and looking for challenges to demonstrate your talent?

Our client, a leader in the hotel and tourism sector with more than 220 owned hotels and 5,000 collaborators, is looking for a talented and passionate Full Stack Developer with strong experience in JAVA. This position plays a key role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and efficient web applications.

The selected candidate will join a development team and work on the implementation of new functionalities while maintaining and improving existing ones. The ideal candidate should have solid skills as a Back and Front End Developer, as well as a deep understanding of JAVA.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities

  • Develop back-end and front-end web applications.
  • Database management with tools such as MongoDB.
  • Performing unit testing.
  • Working in collaboration with other members of the development team and stakeholders to meet user needs.
  • Maintaining and improving existing code when necessary.
  • Participating in the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Coordinating the tasks of a work team.
