Lathe operator

We are looking for a conventional lathe operator to join an important company in the metal sector located 15 minutes from Banyoles and 20 minutes from Olot. The tasks to be carried out are:

• Interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Prepare and adjust the manual lathe and cutting tools.
• Clamp and center the parts to be machined.
• Perform operations such as: turning, facing, taper turning, threading, boring, parting off, and drilling.
• Check part dimensions using measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, comparator, etc.).
• Verify quality and required tolerances.
• Perform basic maintenance on the machine and tools.
• Complying with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Repair or modify existing parts as required by production or maintenance.
• Among other tasks specific to the job position.

Mandatory metal industry training C5.

Knowledge of machining and blueprint reading.

Knowledge of metrology.

Forklift license.

• Fluent in Catalan and/or Spanish, both spoken and written.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a conventional lathe operator.
• Manual dexterity and precision.
• Ability to solve technical problems.
• Attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Have your own vehicle.
• Residence near the workplace is valued.

Buscamos un/a Tornero/a convencional para incorporarse a una importante empresa del sector del metal situada a 15 minutos de Banyoles y a 20 minutos de Olot. Las tareas que tendrá que realizar son:

• Interpretar planos y especificaciones técnicas.
• Preparar y ajustar el turno manual y las herramientas de corte.
• Sujetar y centrar las piezas a mecanizar.
• Realizar operaciones de: Cilindrat,Refrentat,Conificat,Roscado,Mandrinat,Tronzat,Agujereado
• Controlar las dimensiones de las piezas con instrumentos de medida (pie de rey, micrómetro, comparadores, etc.).
• Verificar la calidad y las tolerancias exigidas.
• Hacer el mantenimiento básico de la máquina y de las herramientas.
• Cumplir las normas de seguridad y prevención de riesgos laborales.
• Reparar o modificar piezas existentes según las necesidades de producción o mantenimiento.
• Entre otras tareas propias del puesto de trabajo.

Formación Obligatoria del metal C5.

Conocimientos de Mecanización e Interpretación de planos.

Conocimientos de Metrología.

Carné de carretoner

• Catalán y/o castellano hablado y escrito correctamente.

• Experiencia mínima de 3 años con funciones de tornero convencional.
• Habilidad manual y precisión.
• Capacidad para resolver problemas técnicos.
• Atención al por menor y orientación a la calidad.
• Disponer de vehículo propio.
• Valorable residencia cercana al puesto de trabajo.
