The role

⚡ Position: Hardware Engineer - Industrial Power Electronics

🎯 Requirements: Experience in electronic hardware design, preferably in power electronics (low or high voltage), with proficiency in Altium

📍 Location: Vallès Oriental

📄 Contract: Permanent contract directly with the client

The project

You will join an industrial environment specialized in the development of power electronic systems and energy conversion for applications where reliability and robustness are critical.

The technical department is organized by specialties:

Hardware design team
PCB layout team
EMC / QA team
Firmware team

Your responsibility will focus on the definition and electronic design of new platforms, regulatory compliance, and electrical performance.

What you will do

Design electronic schematics using Altium Designer
Participate in the design of switched-mode power stages
Work with energy conversion topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC, switched-mode power supplies)
Size active and passive components (MOSFETs, IGBTs, drivers, magnetics, filters)
Work with conversion topologies such as Flyback and other SMPS architectures
Design auxiliary power supplies and control systems
Integrate microcontrollers and supervision circuits
Implement industrial communication interfaces (CAN, RS485, etc.)
Collaborate with the PCB team on thermal aspects and critical layout
Work with the EMC/QA team to ensure regulatory compliance
Participate in electrical validation, functional testing, and failure analysis

What we are looking for

Degree in electronics or telecommunications
Experience in hardware design of power electronics in an industrial environment
Experience in designing switched-mode power supplies or energy conversion systems
Experience with Altium
Knowledge of digital control and industrial buses
Ability in electrical analysis and design validation
Experience in industrial product development
Technical English
