We are looking for a Service Manager in Barcelona and surroundings to supervise and coordinate the daily execution of contracted public services (waste collection, street cleaning, treatment, and recovery), guaranteeing their correct provision in accordance with technical, economic, and contractual standards, representing the Business Area before the concessionaire Administration, and ensuring operational efficiency, economic sustainability, and public client satisfaction.

What you'll do

The main duties will be:

Represent the company before the concessionaire Administration, assuming technical and economic interlocution with municipal officials to resolve incidents and manage contractual modifications.

Manage the timely and proper collection of payments for services rendered, in coordination with the Administration Department, in accordance with the conditions established in the concession contracts.

Analyze the economic evolution of the profitability and debt indicators of the contract, providing key information for decision-making and the application of corrective measures.

Supervise the daily execution of the service, ensuring compliance with the quality, frequency, and coverage levels established in the contracts.

Plan and organize the human and material resources assigned to the service, including shifts, routes, machinery, and vehicles, to guarantee operational efficiency.

Control the working time of the personnel under their supervision, optimizing productivity and compliance with labor regulations.

Propose improvements to equipment and processes, identifying opportunities for innovation, energy efficiency, or environmental sustainability.

Detect and propose training needs for operational personnel, in coordination with Human Resources, in order to improve performance and safety.

Apply the company's internal procedures and protocols, ensuring their compliance in all areas of the service.

Know and apply current safety regulations, promoting a preventive culture and guaranteeing the protection of people.

Supervise the maintenance tasks of equipment and facilities, as well as preventive maintenance according to the established Plan.

Collaborate with Human Resources in the management of operational personnel, including the resolution of incidents, monitoring of absences, and support in selection or training processes.

Prepare periodic service monitoring reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), incidents, improvement proposals, and objective fulfillment.
