The role
At CATALONIA HOTELS, a hotel chain in expansion, we are looking for a MAINTENANCE MANAGER for one of our hotels in Barcelona.
What you'll do
The main tasks to be performed are as follows:
Planning the department's tasks and schedules.
Recruiting, training, directing, and supervising the performance of the team under your charge.
Planning and carrying out preventive maintenance according to the quality manual.
Filling out the form for this purpose.
Complying with corrective maintenance procedures according to the quality manual.
Detecting risks in advance: especially in fire safety systems.
Repairing and supervising breakdowns. Ensuring that breakdowns are resolved.
Responsible for the legionella prevention process as well as carrying it out.
Filling out the corresponding records.
Ensuring that the facilities comply with current regulations.
Responsible for leading the emergency plan.
Maintaining and preserving the hotel's facilities and furniture in perfect condition.
Diagnosing the condition of the facilities and informing the hotel manager.
Promoting and carrying out energy saving and efficiency actions.
Controlling stock and spare parts under management approval.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a similar position.
Technical studies + Installer licenses.
Technical knowledge (electricity, gas, water...).
Commitment, rigor, and dedication.
