Requirements

What we're looking for

Qualification: Degree or Bachelor's in Law.
Professional Membership: Professional registration as a practicing lawyer is essential.
Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of demonstrable experience in Criminal and Civil Law (experience in courtrooms and hearings will be positively valued).
Availability: Availability to travel throughout the national territory to attend judicial appointments.
Location: Residence in Alcalá de Henares, Corredor del Henares, or willingness to work on-site at the Alcalá de Henares headquarters.

Nice to have

Solid knowledge of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users.
High negotiation skills, stress tolerance, and analytical capacity.
Experience in the autonomous management of a high volume of files.

The role

An important company, a consolidated leader in the automotive sector, is in the midst of an expansion process. We are looking to incorporate into our Legal Department at our Alcalá de Henares headquarters a Lawyer specializing in Civil and Criminal Law to assume the legal direction of proceedings and guarantee internal legal advice.

What you'll do

Management, response, and defense against consumer claims (warranties, hidden defects, complaint forms, and the right of withdrawal).
Preparation of lawsuits, responses, and attendance at trials (verbal and ordinary), focused on monetary claims and contractual breaches.
Review and validation of the company's sales contracts and commercial agreements.
Drafting and filing of complaints and criminal charges (misappropriation of vehicles, fraud, or document forgery).
Representation and defense of the company as a private prosecutor or defense in criminal proceedings affecting operations.
Continuous legal advice to the Aftersales, Commercial, and Operations departments.
Extrajudicial negotiation and mediation for the agile resolution of conflicts.
Attendance at hearings and trials in various courts throughout the national territory.
