Requirements

What we're looking for

- Degree in Accounting, Taxation or a related field;

- Registration with the Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (OCC) - mandatory;

- Professional experience of more than 3 years in similar roles;

- In-depth knowledge of national accounting standards (SNC);

- Solid knowledge of taxation;

- Seriousness, a strong sense of responsibility, ability to work and meet deadlines;

- Residence in the Braga area.

Nice to have

- Proficiency in accounting software (PHC) - preferred;

The role

A Forte Store is a fully Portuguese company operating in the trade of prestige brands from the Fashion World.

We are a growing company and are currently hiring a Certified Accountant who, reporting to the Department Manager, will join the Administrative - Finance Department team, investing in its development in order to meet the strong growth of its activity.

What you'll do

- Ensure compliance with legal and tax obligations across the various companies in the group;

- Ensure the compliance of records with applicable accounting and tax standards;

- Prepare the financial statements of the group's companies;

- Ensure monthly and annual account closings, including account analysis, the recording of expense accruals, and performing various reconciliations.
