🔔 We are offering a position as a Warehouse Assistant to work at El Fuerte Marbella, the first hotel founded by the company. It opened its doors in 1957 and, after a complete renovation, reopened in 2023 as a 5-star hotel.

El Fuerte Marbella, located on the beachfront in the center of Marbella, offers impressive sea views along the promenade and the Mediterranean, and is just a 5-minute walk from Plaza de los Naranjos. With 266 rooms combining casual luxury and a cozy atmosphere, without sacrificing spectacular Mediterranean views.

You will be responsible for collaborating with the Head of Stores in the hotel's warehouse supply.

You will work at Fuerte Group Hotels, a large family of top-level professionals with nearly 7 decades in the hotel industry that has grown in differentiated brands, especially in southern Spain.

• Collaborating with the Head of Stores in defining material and/or merchandise needs for the supply of the different departments.
• Ensuring the achievement of the established departmental goals, in accordance with the standards set by the hotel.
• Carrying out the reception of goods from suppliers based on company standards and applicable health and safety regulations.
• Carrying out the inventory of stock materials in the warehouse prior to inventory, as well as conducting said inventories.
• Organizing the cold rooms and warehouses.
• Directly managing the FIFO of merchandise.
• Receiving orders and preparing them for delivery to each department.
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouses, carrying out replenishment, organization, and storage functions, according to the criteria established by the company.

El Fuerte Marbella, ubicado en primera línea de playa en el centro de Marbella, ofrece impresionantes vistas al mar a lo largo del paseo marítimo y del Mediterráneo, y se encuentra a sólo 5 minutos a pie de la Plaza de los Naranjos. Se encargará de colaborar con el/la Jefe/a de Economato en el aprovisionamiento del almacén del Hotel.

• Colaborar con el /la Jefe/a de Economato en la definición de necesidades de material y/o mercancía para el abastecimiento de los diferentes Departamentos.
• Velar por la consecución de los objetivos departamentales establecidos, de acuerdo con los estándares establecidos por el hotel.
• Realizar la recepción de mercancías de proveedores en base a los estándares de la compañía y en base a las normas higiénico sanitarias aplicables.
• Realizar el inventario del material en stock de almacén previo a inventario, así como la realización de los dichos inventarios.
• Organizar las cámara y almacenes.
• Mantener la gestión directa del FIFO de mercancía.
• Recepcionar pedidos y preparación de los mismos para entregar a cada Departamento.
• Mantener el orden y limpieza de los almacenes, llevando a cabo las funciones de reposición, orden y almacenaje, según los criterios establecidos por la compañía.
