What we're looking for

Ability to work effectively with autonomous AI agents such as Copilot or Devin. We are looking for a person capable of setting instructions and objectives for these agents and delegating tasks to them autonomously, using them as part of the development process and not merely as a chat to generate or copy code snippets.
Ability to work with autonomy, especially in the use of AI agents.
Global vision of the system and attention to the impact of developments on other components.

What you'll do

Develop and evolve backend modules of the application.
Perform maintenance on existing modules.
Work mainly with Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
Work with Oracle and PL/SQL databases.
Use Git for version control and Jenkins within the development cycle.
Participate in the gathering and understanding of requirements.
Work on a system composed of different interconnected subsystems, taking into account the impact of each development or modification on the rest of the solution's layers.
Use autonomous AI agents as part of the development process, being able to define instructions and delegate tasks so that the agent can work autonomously.

What are we looking for?

At GFT we are looking for a Java Backend Developer with experience working with autonomous AI agents to join a team dedicated to the development and maintenance of a web and mobile application in the banking sector.

We are looking for a profile that combines a solid foundation in Java and Spring Boot with the ability to integrate tools such as Copilot or Devin into their usual way of developing, delegating tasks to the AI autonomously based on instructions and objectives.

Willingness to ask for help when necessary and help the rest of the team.
