Logistics Section Manager

🎯 Job Functions

1. Order Production

Ensure that picking areas always have sufficient stock to prepare orders.

Control that established productivity objectives for pallets in replenishment and items in preparation are met and exceeded.

Control that the personnel under your charge comply with established schedules.

Issue instructions and control the results of the team leader from external companies.

Process the orders to be prepared in each shift.

2. Expense Control

Minimize damage and breakage of goods to the maximum extent, not exceeding the limits established each month.

Adjust the allocation of people and material resources to the real production needs of the platform.

3. Maintenance Management

Control the correct use and maintenance of the machinery and means available to the team.

Control the cleanliness of the machinery and radio frequency (RF) equipment.

Detect any incidents due to impacts on machinery, shelving, protections, etc., and apply the necessary corrective measures.

4. Safety Management

Control the correct uniform and use of PPE by the team under your charge.

Guarantee compliance with indicated safety rules: speed, respect for signage, crossings/bridges, charger room, etc.

Communicate any incident observed in the logistics platform facilities to your superior and to maintenance.

5. Quality Control and Monitoring

Control that the team's production result complies with internal standards regarding assembly, strapping, suitable containers, load stability, etc.

6. Effective People Management

Contribute to the adequate performance of the assigned human team, supervising both the result and the development of their tasks.

Support the development of the team's professional competencies.

Collaborate and cooperate actively to achieve the area's objectives.

Guide and provide constant feedback to the team regarding the evolution of their performance.

Experience: Provide at least 2-3 years of demonstrable previous experience leading and coordinating teams directly in logistics platforms or high-volume distribution centers.

Availability: Full availability to work in rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts, working two alternating Saturdays per month.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) equipment.

Mobility: Own vehicle to travel to the workplace (located in the province of Málaga).

Skills: Leadership capacity, decision-making, accustomed to managing high volumes of work, and a clear orientation toward results.
