Senior Transport Operational Controller

• A degree in Economics or Business Administration.
• At least 5-6 years of experience in the described functions.
• Advanced English level (fluent spoken).
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office package (especially Excel).

• Experience in the transport sector is highly valued.
• Experience or knowledge of analysis systems.
• An analytical profile with strong organizational skills and a goal-oriented mindset.
• Proactivity in proposing improvements and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

We are looking for a  Senior Transport Operations Controller to join our Finance team at our headquarters in Zaragoza. In your day-to-day, you will be responsible for performing the analysis of financial data, costs, and other economic information, to prepare reports that allow for planning and the adoption of the most appropriate decisions.

Under the supervision of the person responsible for Controlling and in close collaboration with them, your main functions will be:

• Obtaining detailed transport costs to analyze actual versus budgeted revenues and costs, monitoring profitability, and identifying variances. 
• Supporting the monitoring and control of established budget targets and implementing corrective measures.
• Preparing accounting closings, management reports, and variance analysis; preparing forecasts.
• Providing reliable financial and control information in close collaboration with other operational and support functions.
• Managing the reporting process, ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency, and compliance with deadlines.
• Monitoring profitability improvement plans, both financial and/or operational, analyzing their progress and impact.
