• Developing route and transport mode planning to maximize profitability while meeting the requirements of internal and external clients.
• Analyzing collection notices and service requests submitted by clients to determine how many trucks will be required to perform the service.
• Analyzing and determining whether the service should be performed in Milk-Run mode or routed through a consolidation warehouse for subsequent distribution.
• Optimizing loads based on a range of parameters, including the geographic area of pickup and delivery points, transit times, etc., to allocate the delegation's resources in the most cost-effective way while meeting client delivery deadlines.
• Ensuring compliance with transit times and the requirements of internal and external clients.
• Defining action plans aimed at optimizing trucks in terms of weight and volume.
• Seeking synergies between delegations and identifying unbalanced traffic flows.
• Assigning client traffic to each delegation and to the resources in operation.
• Identifying supplier needs and allocating the necessary resources to the different delegations.

We are looking for a Transport Planning Technician to join our Transport team at our headquarters in Zaragoza. In your day-to-day role, you will be responsible for planning transport services for the assigned delegation, maximizing efficiency ratios and meeting client-defined transit times.

• Higher Degree (HNC/HND) in Transport and Logistics.
• Knowledge of the road transport sector.
• At least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
• High level of English.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
