What you'll do

The candidate will be responsible for:

- Designing, optimizing, and managing the network of collection and transport routes for animal by-products nationwide, ensuring economic efficiency, regulatory compliance, and maximum fleet productivity.

- Designing collection and transport routes nationwide.

- Defining collection zones, loading/unloading centers, and transfer points.

- Grouping livestock farms based on biosecurity criteria, collection frequency, and geographic proximity.

- Analyzing and optimizing productive vs. non-productive kilometers.

- Calculating costs per route and per ton.

- Sizing the fleet based on load and operational volume.

- Planning weekly routes and assigning vehicles and drivers.

- Re-planning in real time in response to incidents, breakdowns, or operational emergencies.

- Monitoring driving times, time windows, and payloads per vehicle.

- Selecting the appropriate vehicle type for each operation (rigid trucks with cranes, flatbeds with/without cranes).

- Monitoring occupancy, productivity per vehicle, and cost per kilometer.

- Analyzing cost per route, per customer, and per ton transported.

- Identifying improvements for profitability and logistics optimization.

- Applying national transport regulations.

- Monitoring traceability, transport documentation, and cleaning and disinfection protocols.

- Coordinating documentation with insurers, destination plants, and intermediate centers.

- Direct liaison with drivers, producers, and end managers.

- Resolving operational incidents and monitoring service delivery.

- Monitoring KPIs.

- Reporting to General Management.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

The candidate:

- Vocational training in Transport and Logistics or Industrial Engineering / Industrial Organization.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in route planning and operational fleet management.

- Experience in special transport or regulated sectors is valued.

- Knowledge of the national logistics geography and coordination with drivers and livestock or agricultural operations.

- Proficiency in route management software.

- Advanced Excel / BI skills.

- Planning and organizational skills in dynamic operational environments.

- Analytical thinking focused on optimizing routes, resources, and logistics costs.

- Coordination and communication skills with drivers, customers, and operational teams.

- Offices near the Atocha area
