What you'll do

Within our Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) team, we have a key opening for a dynamic and meticulous professional to take on the role of Transport Planning Management Administrator.

Your main mission will be the administrative management of transport, daily planning control, operational KPI tracking, and optimization of assigned resources. Likewise, you will be a key pillar in direct, day-to-day communication with the carrier fleet to build long-term trusting relationships.

Reporting to the Area Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Planning and Control: Monitor and ensure compliance with daily planning, preparing operational dashboards.

Fleet Management: Manage assigned resources (vehicles and drivers) and organize loads across Catalonia to various destinations, always seeking maximum productivity.

Carrier Management: Coordinate communication through established channels (including WhatsApp groups), streamlining fleet operations ahead of unloading to optimize load capacity and efficient mileage.

Incident Management: Resolve incidents arising during service in real time and report any driver irregularities to your manager.

KPI Monitoring: Ensure compliance with operational KPIs, committed volume per customer, and vehicle age standards.

Fleet Coordination: Communicate incidents with carriers, identify potential new carriers, and alert on potential risks of carrier attrition.

Documentation: Process all documentation related to road transport (CMR, delivery notes, waybills).

What we're looking for

To succeed in this position, we require:

Education: Higher Vocational Training (FP II) in Transport and Logistics, International Trade, or Business Administration. A university degree in Business Administration (ADE), Industrial Organization Engineering, or similar fields will be valued.

Experience: Previous experience in traffic functions, route planning, fleet management, or transport administration is desirable. Experience in automotive logistics operators (FVL) or in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG/FMCG) and industrial sectors with strong road distribution will be positively valued.

Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and complex formulas) for reporting and KPI preparation. Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and ERP tools (such as SAP or Oracle). Knowledge of basic road transport legislation, driving/rest time regulations, and associated documentation (CMR). Solid knowledge of Spanish geography. Valued: Knowledge of Power BI for fleet reporting automation.

Languages: Native or bilingual Spanish is essential for daily interaction with the national fleet. English at a B1/B2 level will be valued for internal divisional reports or international carriers.

Key Competencies: Negotiation skills, empathy, resilience to manage stress when dealing with real-time incidents, assertive communication, and, above all, a strong willingness to contribute to the team!
