What we're looking for

- You possess the professional certificate of Ocean-going, Cabotage, or Coastal Master of the M.M. or a higher professional certificate of the Merchant Navy (qualification approved in Spain)
- Valid Basic Safety Training in Maritime Security
- Valid Initial or Advanced Specific Health Training
- Valid Restricted or General Operator of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System
- Valid ISM medical certificate
- Valid Type B driver's license in Spain
Nice to have
- Training and/or Courses in the Office Suite (Word and/or Excel)
- From 1 day to 6 months of experience in navigation tasks specific to marine protected areas (MPA) (with employment contract)
- From 1 day to 6 months of experience in navigation tasks in other fields (with employment contract)
- Previous experience in vessel maintenance (with employment contract)

Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in performing engineering, consulting, and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to incorporate 1 Coastal, Cabotage, Ocean-going or Higher Master of the M.M. - Marine Protected Areas (Girona) in Girona
What you'll do
- Marine routes in the MPAs for the monitoring of infrastructure, activities, and species excel
- Precise navigation and responsible with protected species
- Vessel maintenance.
- Periodic reports on the maintenance of the vessel and auxiliary equipment
- Periodic reports on the status of the vessel's provisions.
How you'll work
- Girona (Catalonia)
Planned home port: Sant Feliu de Guixols. Sea trips in the Marine Protected Areas of Catalonia. - WE OFFER:
Fixed-term contract of approximately 2 years and 7 months, with the option of extension if appropriate and respecting the maximum duration limits established in the current labor legislation for each contractual modality. The type and duration of the contract will depend on the reason for hiring, the project, and the circumstances of the selected person/s.
- Full-time: 37.5 h/week.
