Requirements

What we're looking for

Compliance with requirements and/or merits must be justified through the performance of assessment tests and/or by attaching the necessary documentation in the "Annexes" section of the registration questionnaire.   • High School Diploma (BUP/COU), Vocational Training I or Intermediate Vocational Training (CFGM), Vocational Training II or Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) (degree officially recognized in Spain or certificate of equivalence issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) or experience (work-related, academic, or both) in the job position of at least 12 months.
  • Valid Type B driver's license in Spain

Nice to have

  • Experience driving off-road vehicles in mountain areas (work-related, academic, or both)
  • Experience in the handling and care of wildlife animals (work-related, academic, or both)
  • Experience in cleaning animal facilities: cages, cubicles, etc. (work-related, academic, or both)

Education & certifications

  • Complementary training within the field of Wild Animal Care, Zoos, and Aquariums

The role

First-class Technician - (Replacement) Wildlife Recovery Center (Sobrescobio, Asturias)

Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in performing engineering, consulting, and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, is looking to hire 1 First-class Technician to carry out a replacement in the wildlife sanitary surveillance service in Sobrescobio, Asturias.

What you'll do

  • Feeding of the center's animals: storage, preparation, and dispensing of food to the animals according to veterinary instructions.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of facilities housing the animals according to veterinary instructions and maintenance of the area around the Center (brush clearing, etc.).
  • Assistance to the veterinarian in the restraint of animals undergoing examination and treatment as well as in their transfer to the different departments of the Center.
  • Transfer of wild animals to the natural environment and the center.

How you'll work

  • We offer:
    - Fixed-term contract for replacement with an estimated duration of 2 months, depending on the underlying cause.
    - Full-time.
