What we're looking for

Hold a High School Diploma (Bachiller/BUP/COU) or Vocational Training qualification (FP I, CFGM, FP II, or CFGS) (qualification officially recognized in Spain).
Valid type B driving license in Spain. (To certify said permit, a copy or proof must be provided in the application).
Previous experience of at least 6 months performing supervision and control functions in the organization of civil works (Experience with an employment contract).
From 6 months to 1 year of experience having performed works control functions with road construction in a forestry environment (Earthworks, execution of works, embankments...) (Experience with an employment contract)
From 6 months to 1 year of experience having performed construction functions providing support in the placement of concrete slabs. (Experience with an employment contract)

Nice to have

PRL 60/50-hour course qualifying as a preventive resource. (To certify said training, a copy or proof must be provided in the application)
Previous experience of between 6 months and 1 year performing work in companies within the construction sector (Experience with an employment contract)
Previous experience of between 6 months and 1 year performing work in public sector companies (Experience with an employment contract)

The role

Foreman - MENRRED Road Works (Valencia Province)

Empresa de Transformación Agraria, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in works related to rural development and nature conservation, is looking to hire 1 Foreman for the MENRRED Road Works project (National Response and Reconstruction Mechanism against DANA) (Valencia Province) in València/Valencia

What you'll do

Organize and schedule the works to be carried out with the supervisor, being responsible for the progress of the works, and immediately report any anomaly that arises.
Interpret plans, perform measurements and staking out.
Monitor the performance of machinery and site personnel, as well as complete and sign off the necessary reports regarding personnel and machinery
Train their team in the tasks to be performed.
Comply with and ensure compliance with regulations regarding safety, quality, and site signage, being responsible for informing newly hired personnel about the use of personal protective equipment and the safety measures applicable on the worksite.
Verify that correct material storage and cleaning tasks are carried out

How you'll work

València/Valencia
Address: Paterna, with travel to the various worksites.

OFFERED:
- Replacement contract to temporarily cover 1 Foreman position at Tragsa until the Tasa selection process for its definitive coverage is completed. The type and duration of the contract will depend on the reason for hiring, the project, and the circumstances of the selected person.

- Full-time working day: 37.5 hours / Week.
