We are looking for a Assistant Crop Maintenance who, under the supervision of the Station Manager and together with the farm team, will take part in the daily management of our experimental farms in Bellavista (El Ejido).

You will be responsible for crop production and maintenance activities, including greenhouse preparation, sowing, transplanting, crop nutrition and irrigation, crop protection, disease and climate control, rotation planning, and general farm maintenance.

The work is performed in close collaboration with the Station Managers and the rest of the farm team, fostering strong communication and teamwork across all departments. You will be part of a highly skilled and stable farm team, where employees enjoy excellent working conditions and long-term commitment, making the day-to-day work environment smooth, cooperative and rewarding.

While knowledge of the seed business is appreciated, previous experience in seed companies is not required. We highly value experience in vegetable or fruit production, especially with crops such as tomato, melon, and watermelon.

Your responsibilities will include activities related to crop production and maintenance, including greenhouse preparation, sowing, transplanting, nutrition and irrigation, crop protection, disease and climate control, rotation planning, and general farm maintenance.

You will be part of a highly skilled and stable farm team, where everyone enjoys good working conditions and a high degree of long-term commitment, making daily work more comfortable, fluid, and pleasant.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with the Station Manager and the rest of the farm team, fostering communication and teamwork between departments. You will also have the responsibility of supervising and developing a large team of permanent and temporary employees, ensuring their motivation, efficiency, and a positive working environment. You will be part of a highly skilled and stable farm team, where everyone enjoys good working conditions and a high degree of long-term commitment, making daily work more comfortable, fluid, and pleasant.

Although experience in the seed sector is valued, it is not a necessary requirement. We especially value experience in fruit and vegetable or agricultural production.

• Degree or Master's in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience managing farm operations in horticultural or agricultural production (seed business experience is not required).
• Solid technical knowledge of vegetable crops, greenhouse systems, irrigation, and crop protection.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop teams.
• Problem-solving mindset and hands-on attitude.
• Fluent in English (B2)
• Motivated, proactive and committed to long-term growth.

Buscamos un/a Técnico/a de Cultivo (Assistant Crop Maintenance) que, bajo la supervisión del Station Manager y junto al equipo de finca, asuma parte del liderazgo en la gestión diaria de nuestras fincas de investigación de Bellavista (El Ejido)

Entre tus responsabilidades se encontraran las actividades relacionadas con la producción y el mantenimiento de los cultivos, incluyendo la preparación de invernaderos, siembra, trasplante, nutrición y riego, protección de cultivos, control de enfermedades y clima, planificación de rotaciones y mantenimiento general de la finca.

• Grado o Máster en Agronomía, Ingeniería Agrícola, Horticultura u otra formación similar.
• Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en gestión de operaciones agrícolas u hortofrutícolas (no es necesaria experiencia previa en casas de semillas o producción de semillas, aunque es valorable).
• Conocimiento técnico sólido en cultivos hortícolas, manejo de invernaderos, riego y protección de cultivos.
• Capacidad de liderazgo y organización, con habilidad para guiar, motivar y desarrollar equipos.
• Actitud resolutiva y práctica, con orientación a la mejora continua.
• Inglés fluido (B2).
• Persona altamente motivada, proactiva y con compromiso con el crecimiento a largo plazo.
