Requirements

The role

At Hospes Palacio de los Patos we are looking for a Receptionist to perform the following functions:

What you'll do

Customer service.
Management of guest check-ins and check-outs at the Hotel. Obtaining payments before handing over room keys and verifying billing.
Performing sales and upselling actions for rooms, higher categories, and hotel services.
Verifying reservations, guarantees, deposits, and forms of payment, monitoring outstanding balances and credits where appropriate.
Managing and following up on guest requests, incidents, and complaints, ensuring their resolution within their scope of responsibility and recording them properly.
Handle tasks related to room occupancy and sales.
Safeguard valuables and money deposited.
Carrying out tasks related to billing and payment collection.
Managing the cash register closing at the end of the shift.
Managing security incidents, emergencies, and exceptional situations when appropriate.
Performing Night Auditor functions when appropriate, carrying out daily PMS closures, reviewing charges, billing, forms of payment, cash balancing, and checking for possible discrepancies.
Acting as the hotel's operational point of reference during the night shift, especially when department managers are not present.
Preparing and reviewing daily closing and production reports, communicating any incidents or deviations to the corresponding manager.
Applying the Chain's quality standards following the Procedures Manual.
